October's Heart: Girl Name

My youngest sister once asked how I could possibly still love her once I was to be married--"your heart," she said, was "being given to someone else." I told her that I would still love her with all of my heart because for each very important love, I had a different heart. The heart I had for her would always and wholly be hers.

This blog is about the hearts of mine that may be damaged, but never broken: my family, my faith, my desire to live and experience life more abundantly. This blog also is a place for my heart to grieve and process coming out of domestic abuse. What you read is not a diary--it is a creative weaving of my innermost feelings. You may not understand everything, but that's ok, because this is my place to heal and hopefully your place to find hope and someone to relate to.
